We earlier discussed How to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free, and many would like to know how to bypass the restriction. This post today provides the answer to that challenge. Windows 11 was launched with restrictive installation requirements compared to other versions. It includes restrictions on older processors, an internet connection, and a Microsoft account.
Now, as promised in yesterday's post, there are ways of bypassing the restrictions. With that, you will be able to upgrade to Windows 11 even if your CPU is unsupported. If you wish to do a clean Windows 11 install and do all necessary even if your system is not supported, you can do that with a tool called Rufus.
The Rufus app is not new but has been used for a long time. Technical people have used it to quickly create bootable Windows installers. Now the most recent release i.e. Rufus 3.19 BETA, based on reports from Ars Technica, can remove restrictions on an online Microsoft account and other things. If your computer HP or MAC does not have TPM 2.0, the app can bypass it for you. Also, if your PC has less than 4GB of RAM or 64GB of storage, the app can help you disable data collection, allowing you to install it.
To use the app, you must keep your PC fully offline when installing the OS to skip the Microsoft account requirement. However, Rufus comes in handy in such an easy way by cutting manual registry edits. One remarkable thing about Rufus is that it is available for free!
You can go online and get to the Rufus app. Download the app and follow the installation instruction, and you are good.
Finally, every good thing does have some dark shades. Microsoft, too is working on ways to prevent those bypasses. Microsoft might start using watermarks on those machines as it usually treats non-serialized installations of Windows. Microsoft could also block such systems from getting updates.
