Singer, Wizkid has bagged himself another major achievement, winning the Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
Wizkid won the highly coveted Best African Act award at the just concluded 2021 MTV EMA awards ceremony, held in Hungary.
The singer who is currently on his “Made in Lagos” (MIL) tour, had been nominated in the category alongside his Nigerian counterpart, Tems, and other African music stars like , Diamond Platnumz, Amaarae and Focalistic.
However, as he wasn’t available in person to receive the award, Wizkid made a pre-recorded acceptance video where he appreciated everyone who has supported his journey.
